Long before Mandy’s Custom Cakes got started, I began designing and decorating cakes for my own children. I’d grown tired of the choices offered at the supermarket and wanted something that was fun, fresh and unique. My love for cake decorating only grew as I began designing more cakes.

And now for a few words from Mandy.  I enjoy pina coladas and getting caught in the rain, as well as scrapbooking, quilting, and photography.  I'm the mother of two adorable children, a daughter and a son.  The first layered cake that I ever made was when I was in middle school.  It ended up in the trash can because I didn't like the way it turned out, even though it was a perfectly good cake.  I've been told that I have half a brain.  And finally, the farthest I've ever driven to deliver a cake is 950 miles.  It was for my beautiful sister, Nikki, in Southern California.
